Decluttering Social Media Accounts

This Week: Digital Declutter

Social Scrub

Social media is like an all-you-can-eat buffet. At first, it looks amazing. Friends! Family! Games! Cute doggos!

But before you know it, your plate is piled high with things you do not even like.

Endless ads. Negative news. Random influencers you followed on a whim. People you have not talked to in years. Accounts that make you feel bad about yourself instead of inspired. (How did that get on my plate?!)

It all adds up. And just like a cluttered home, a cluttered feed makes life feel heavier than it needs to be.

We do not think twice about decluttering our closets or junk drawers. But what about the things we see every day?

If our feed is shaping our thoughts, moods, and energy, does it not make sense to clean it up too?

Today’s Tiny Step Forward

Pick one platform.

Unfollow ten accounts that no longer serve you. Maybe they stress you out. Maybe they no longer align with your values. Maybe they just do not add anything meaningful.

Lighten your feed in order to lighten your mind.

Hit reply to let me know how it goes!
