Friday Feels: Streamlining Routines

Yo yo yo!
It’s Friday! That means it’s about time to have a great weekend. That might mean getting some projects wrapped up, having fun, or maybe just relaxing.
Which makes me think about this week’s topic about streamlining routines. The idea isn’t just to spend less time or energy doing those boring things. I mean…it IS that…but the more important part of it is that the more time you save by streamlining, the more time you have to do the things you love. The things that matter most to you.
And one thing I want you to think about for this weekend, is that the more you declutter, the easier it is to streamline.
If your closet and drawers aren’t stuffed to the rafters, putting laundry away is much less time-consuming and easier. If your kitchen counters are clear, cooking and cleaning becomes much more enjoyable and even quicker!
The very fact that you’re reading this tells me that you understand fundamentally that decluttering is beneficial.
But it also tells me that you might appreciate some encouragement and/or motivation.
So here it is.
Go declutter something right now. 50 things. 1 thing. Or 1,000 things.
That shirt you constantly try on and then put back. That kitchen gadget you never use. The expired medicine in your bathroom. The towels at the bottom of the stack with holes in it.
Don’t go crazy. Just get started.
Enjoy your weekend!
Yours in Simplicity,
