Friday Feels: Outdoor Living

Click to share.

A great friend of mine unwittingly wrote today’s email for me in the form of a late night text message. Not sure I could express the sentiment any better. So here we go.

From my buddy:

“I know you keep your notifications off so I hope it’s ok to text this late.

I just read your outdoor living news letter.

It was perfect!  You nailed it!

I’m currently in a cabin in Tennessee with family for a week. Yes a week! Brutal for me actually as a workaholic.

Today they all planned a trip to Dollywood but I chose to stay back and be alone for the day.

I packed up water and snacks in the truck and set off in search of trails, nature and peace and quiet.

I have been on vacation for 4 days but today was the first I actually felt like I was disconnected and off work.

Hiked for a few miles, ran some trails for a few miles and just sat in nature for a while.

This is all I want.  All I really need. It didn’t cost any money, no first class seats, no VIP experience. Just myself and nature.

I could actually hear and feel myself think again. Feel again, breath again.

Just wanted to let you know you are on the right track and making a difference and the words you write are heard and true.

Sorry so late!

Keep spreading the word!

Thanks bro“

So, try to remember that whenever you’re feeling too caught up in something. Whether it’s work, or family, or a project, or whatever. Take a step outside. For a few minutes, a couple hours, or the whole day.

I’ll bet it will change your perspective on things.

Yours in Simplicity,

PS - I’m offering up to 30 minutes of my time to talk through any challenge(s) you might be facing.

No charge. No sales pitch. No BS.

Just a clutter-free conversation to see how I can help. You can just reply to this email or go to my website to book a time. Easy peasy. I hope you take me up on it.

I do offer 1:1 coaching, but I won’t even broach that topic unless it’s something you’d like to talk about. Hope to hear from you!
